ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Muḥammad al-Hādī b. Shaʾth Ture

He was born in Fass Ture where he received all his training. It was his father and his brother al-ḥājj Mālik Ture who trained him in Qurʾānic and Islamic studies. He is now believed to be one of the most learned men in astrology in Senegal. He is the principal of the Qurʾānic school named Dār al-Arqām li-Tahfīẓ al-Qurʾān al-Karīm. He also chairs another ʿilm school where he teaches various Islamic subjects.
