K. al-ṭabaqāt, 354; K. al-ṭabaqāt, ed. Ṣuddayq, 169, gives his name as Jawda.


Known as ṣāḥib al-Manẓūma. All that is recorded is that he was one of the students of Muḥammad b. ʿAlī Qaram al-Miṣrī (q.v.), who composed a comm. on his Manẓūma.
