Survey Report on the Mental Health of Elementary and Secondary School Teachers and Students in Poverty-Stricken Areas of Western China

Abstract: The survey finds out that the mental health (心理健康) status of nearly 13% of the elementary and secondary school teachers and students in the poverty-stricken areas of Western China is low. 17.6% of the teenagers and 24.5% of the teachers there have experienced depression. 8.4% of the teenagers have thought of committing suicide.
