Commentary
Ammi-ditana, Hammu-rapi’s grandson and ninth king of the Babylon I dynasty, reigned ca. 1683–1647 bce. A Sumerian inscription known from an original cone fragment and a much later Neo-Babylonian tablet copy commemorates his construction of the wall of Babylon.
