Commentary

Subject: Jer 16:5; Amos 6:7

The two-line inscription on papyrus mentioning a mrzh is of unknown provenance; one of the photographs on which the first publication was based show it in what is purported to be the form in which it was found, that is, folded and sealed by a bulla (Bordreuil and Pardee 1990: pl.
