Subject: Esth 4:3

Similar to the sentiment near the end of the war with Eshnunna (cf. ARM 26.199 [4.66]), there seems to have been a mixed response to the Elamite campaigns into Syro-Mesopotamia. In this letter, Su-nuhra-halu, a high-ranking official in Zimri-Lim’s administration, reported on the differing reactions within the household of Igmil-Sin, a commoner (muškēnum), to the Elamite’s advance.
