[89] As a result of the good relations Hajji Firuz al-Din had cultivated with officials of the Iranian state, at the end of 1229/early December 1814 he sent his wazir and principal advisor, Hajji Aqa Khan, to His Highness Fath ʿAli Shah in hopes of bringing his aspirations to fruition.
