[65] When, thanks to the loans, the prince had prepared the matériel necessary for his campaign, he left Shalkut for Kuzhak. For his part, Shah Mahmud sent out Salih Muhammad Khan with 1,000 horsemen to stop him. The two sides met at Kuzhak and battle was joined.
