[111] As a result of the disturbances that took place in Afghanistan beginning in 1234/1819 which followed the blinding and murder of Wazir Fath Khan, some of which have been recounted and the rest still to come, the Qizilbash of Kabul found themselves in agreement with the separate establishment of the sons of Payandah Khan in each city and opposed to the establishment of an autocratic authority.
